Eastbourne Primary School

Eastbourne Primary School is a place where children feel celebrated, supported and inspired to grow. Set in the relaxed surrounds of Capel Sound on the Mornington Peninsula, our school community is built on genuine care for every learner, every family and every opportunity to make a difference. We balance strong academic foundations with a love of creativity, curiosity and connection, because we believe the best learning happens when children feel they truly belong.

Enrolling

  • Eastbourne Primary School sits on large open grounds and currently supports around 230 students from Foundation to Year 6. With classes capped at 25 students, we are able to provide a personalised and supportive learning experience for every child.

  • Eastbourne Primary School welcomes enrolments from families residing in Rosebud, Boneo, Tootgarook and Rye, subject to Victorian school zoning requirements.

School zones in Victoria are determined by the Department of Education. Families can find their designated local school by visiting findmyschool.vic.gov.au.

Families residing outside the school zone are still welcome to apply. Applications from outside the zone are considered based on available places and in line with the Department of Education’s School Placement Policy.

  • We welcome families to visit our school and experience the Eastbourne community firsthand. To arrange a school tour, please contact our school office to arrange a suitable time.

  • Eastbourne Primary School offers its own independently run Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program, providing families with a safe, supportive and engaging environment for children beyond the school day.

Our OSHC program encourages children to build friendships, confidence, creativity and important life skills through play-based learning experiences and activities.

The service operates each school day from 7:00am–8:45am before school and from 3:15pm–6:00pm after school. During school holidays and pupil free days, the program runs from 7:00am–6:00pm.

  • Families can access all school policies via the “Our School” dropdown menu located at the top of our website.
