Eastbourne is very fortunate to have a heated swimming pool very close by. Students in grades Prep through to grade 4 have the opportunity to be involved in an intensive swimming program each year. The swimming lessons are conducted by specially trained and qualified staff from the local Swimming Centre. The children work in small groups where they are at the correct level and progress through a range of activities and tests before progressing to the next level.

The school also conducts swimming trials for students in grades 3 to 6. Students who perform well in this intra school competition then advance on to compete at a local schools level, and can then proceed to regional, state and national competition.
